We began with a very dated yet large ensuite with high ceilings and an expansive primary bedroom with minimal closet space . Eliminating the bulky corner tub with tiled surround gave us lots of space to relocate the shower to show off large scale tiles . For the steam shower , we installed a sloped glass ceiling and housed the steam unit in a cabinet behind the new freestanding tub . We also installed a fan within the nearby skylight to help disperse steam .
With any primary suite , closet space is of utmost importance and that is why we cut into the original bedroom and bathroom footprint to create a spectacular new closet in between the two rooms . The closet was designed with an illuminated display cabinet that transitions the closet to the bathroom . This primary suite has been transformed into a beautiful space that the homeowner will enjoy for years to come . - Jillian Straky ,
