God’ s Big Surprise for 2025

This past May, our Executive Administrator, Judy

Ralph, mentioned that a beautiful brick office building was going up for auction just five minutes away from our then-current office. This piqued our founder’ s interest enough to drive by the building, and before the day was over, Jeff had taken a few of our team members on a field trip to tour it. Even though we weren’ t actively looking for a new office, our personnel growth and desire to host larger groups for on-site training events led us to look more deeply into this opportunity.
We discovered the building was 9,200 square feet, had been built just 11 years ago, and was in overall excellent condition. Though it had been on the market for 1.7 million, we were told it could be bought for considerably less. We then invited some of our local board members and financial partners to walk through the building with us. One person after another had the sense that we should seriously pursue the purchase of this building. In just ten days, six of our financial partners committed $ 800,000 toward its purchase. After some discussion, the owners, who were excited to see a Christian organization purchase the building, agreed to sell it to us for 1.1 million.
On Friday, July 18, at the end of a board meeting, Jeff announced we had raised $ 909,000 toward the $ 1.1 million building purchase. With the closing scheduled for Monday, July 21, he told the board he was still trusting God to provide the remaining $ 191,000 so we could close debt-free. Board member Bruce Smith closed the meeting in prayer, specifically asking the Lord to provide the funds by Monday. We said our goodbyes and ended the call.
Before the team could even stand up, our COO, Curtis Cornell, burst into the room with a FedEx envelope. In the upper corner was the name of one of our faithful ministry partners. Curtis asked if Jeff wanted to open it, and he quickly said yes. Inside was a check for $ 200,000. Wow! We had a hallelujah celebration right there in that small conference room!
We are so thankful to God for this new office, which will enable us to more effectively reach children with a biblical worldview. However, God’ s primary gifts to us are the dedicated RenewaNation team members and the partners who support our mission with their prayers, finances, and other contributions. God’ s people are His number one asset in accomplishing His mission on earth. We are grateful and humbled by all of you who have felt God’ s call to join our great cause. Thank you!
