Closing Thoughts from Our Founder
Recently, our nation has been rocked by hatred and violence, but perhaps nothing has impacted us more than the assassination of Charlie Kirk. I heard him share in more than one video that he came to know Christ in a fifth-grade class at a Christian school when his Christian teacher shared the gospel with him.
Think about that for a moment. This is how we fix what is broken in this country! We regain access to the hearts and minds of millions of children, lead them to Jesus, and pour His truth into them. Then, just like Charlie Kirk, we unleash them into every sphere of culture, equipped with God’ s truth.
Charlie Kirk was just 18 years old when he launched his ministry. He had only 13 years to make his impact on the world. In that brief time, he built an organization with 1,000 employees and nearly 100 million in annual income. More importantly, God used him to change the hearts and minds of millions of young people.
As I contemplate Charlie’ s beautiful life and tragic death, I’ m convinced that we need to think bigger at RenewaNation. What could we do in the next decade if we chose to think in terms of maximums, not minimums? How many children could we reach if we didn’ t let anything hold us back? What if we lived by radical faith, not letting fear of failure, a lack of resources, or anything else stop us from living for Christ and advancing God’ s great kingdom? If we do this, we will reach millions of children who will grow up to reach tens of millions more!
This is exactly what we are working hard to do at RenewaNation. While our work is challenging and costly, the eternal impact and rewards are immeasurable.
