The Financial Square Building is located on one
of the busiest road of Doha, Qatar, finally made
its transition from conventional to solar energy
and took the advantage of the sun’s power in
which the country is abundant of.
A 27KWp PV Internal Grid Tied system with a
total of 108 PV Modules with 250 Watts peak
are installed and producing more electricity
than needed in one of the building owned
by a 100% Qatari Investor. A total of 4 (2)
storey commercial building rented by private
businesses, bank office and also rented by a
restaurant that offers international cuisines are
utilizing sun’s power on its everyday operation.
The PV Internal grid tied system costs around
200-300 thousand Qatari Riyals with a return
of investment of about 10% (ten percent) in
less than 2 years and payback of more than
