Ecobuild preview Sister act Waxman Energy is announcing the launch of a new partnership with inverter manufacturer Schneider at this year’s show. Also featuring on its stand will be solar modules from Tier 1 manufacturers such as LG, Trina Solar, Phono Solar, BenQ and Jinko plus a range of PV accessories. The team is also launching a new kit builder feature on the company’s website www.waxmanenergy.co.uk to enable customers to build their own perfect PV kits from a selection of Waxman products and order them safely online. Waxman Energy is sharing its stand with its sister division Waxman Renewables which will be presenting its new product lines and large selection of biomass boilers by brand partner WES, and solar thermal systems from Austrian manufacturer TiSUN. N4121 Passing the test Testo is exhibiting its full range of testing products and instrument solutions for the renewables industry and heating engineers. New to its range of thermal imagers is the Testo 870, which has been designed in co-operation with building and heating contractors, service engineers and facilities maintenance specialists. With a large display, wide field of view and uncomplicated operation, Testo says the 870 allows installers to work faster and more productively. It also include features normally associated with more expensive cameras, such as automatic hot and cold spot recognition to help make quick diagnostics. Testo is also exhibiting its new and improved range of flue gas analysers including the Testo 320B to monitor legal limit values, eliminate malfunctions and spot check heating systems being serviced. Meanwhile, the Testo 570 refrigeration manifold for heat pumps and refrigeration systems is, according to Testo, capable of more than one measurement. Pressure, temperature, vacuum or current – the Testo 570 measures them all. N1140 Citizens’ advice The team from HETAS will be on hand to help visitors with advice on training, certification and registration with the competent persons scheme for installers of solid fuel and biomass. HETAS supports the RHI and MCS schemes for installers and products and is often the first port of call for consumers looking to install stoves, fires or biomass heating systems. HETAS registered installers have access to dedicated advice on solid fuel and biomass via a free technical helpline. They also receive regular updates and support on the latest legislation and good practice with regular technical bulletins and monthly e-newsletters. At Ecobuild HETAS will be launching the latest copy of its annual guide which contains over one thousand approved products and services – an essential specification and reference tool for anyone in the solid fuel and biomass industry.
