Passing the test
Testo is exhibiting its full range of testing products and instrument
solutions for the renewables industry and heating engineers.
New to its range of thermal imagers is the Testo 870, which has been
designed in co-operation with building and heating contractors, service
engineers and facilities maintenance specialists.
With a large display, wide field of view and uncomplicated operation,
Testo says the 870 allows installers to work faster and more productively.
It also include features normally associated with more expensive
cameras, such as automatic hot and cold spot recognition to help make
quick diagnostics.
Testo is also exhibiting its new and improved range of flue gas
analysers including the Testo 320B to monitor legal limit values, eliminate
malfunctions and spot check heating systems being serviced.
Meanwhile, the Testo 570 refrigeration manifold for heat pumps and
refrigeration systems is, according to Testo, capable of more than one
measurement. Pressure, temperature, vacuum or current – the Testo 570
measures them all. N1140
Citizens’ advice
The team from HETAS will be on hand to help visitors with advice
on training, certification and registration with the competent
persons scheme for installers of solid fuel and biomass.
HETAS supports the RHI and MCS schemes for installers and
products and is often the first port of call for consumers looking to
install stoves, fires or biomass heating systems.
HETAS registered installers have access to dedicated advice
on solid fuel and biomass via a free technical helpline. They also
receive regular updates and support on the latest legislation
and good practice with regular technical bulletins and monthly
e-newsletters.
At Ecobuild HETAS will be launching the latest copy of its
annual guide which contains over one thousand approved products
and services – an essential specification and reference tool for
anyone in the solid fuel and biomass industry. New consumer
advice leaflets will also be available.
