My Labour of Love
I am honoured to have played a
role in the growth of Chartwell
over the past 15 years, including
10 as President and CEO, as we
have become the largest opera-
tor of seniors housing in Canada.
What I am most proud of is that
we have built a company dedi-
cated to Making People’s Lives
BETTER and creating a wonder-
ful home for each of our residents.
When I reflect on what has made
my time with Chartwell special,
it is the people - our employees
and residents - whom I have had
the pleasure and privilege of
meeting and learning
from over the years.
Being a part of
Chartwell history has
truly been a labour of
love for me.
I know that everyone on the
Chartwell team shares my
passion for delivering an excep-
tional and memorable experience
for our residents and their fami-
lies and residences where they
feel at home, welcome and
respected.
In this, my last Rendezvous
magazine as President & CEO, I
want to share with you just a few
stories celebrating how our resi-
dents and our employees make
life extraordinary every day and
make a positive difference in the
lives of others.
Thank you all for the great memo-
ries, experiences and, most
importantly, the friendships. I look
