Chartwell Les Écores lends a helping hand
At Chartwell, we attach great importance to the value
of commitment. Every day, our residents and employees
are making a difference in the lives of others and that is
especially true at Chartwell Les Écores in Laval, QC. They
embrace the value of commitment year-long by helping
individuals of all generations lead better lives. Below are
some of the wonderful ways they’ve helped to support
their community.
The team joined numerous organizations in the city of
Laval for a walk in support of World Elder Abuse Awareness
Day. Residents volunteered and helped welcome more
than 500 participants with refreshments and snacks.
As part of the annual Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau, a
non-profit that helps to support children with cancer in
Quebec, residents and employees eagerly welcomed
kayakers for the fourth year in a row.
In the fall, the residence partnered with Chartwell Les
Monarques for the 20th anniversary of the Expo-Diabetes
event in Laval. Both residences offered cookies and
chair massages to visitors of the show, which
attracted more than 1,000 people.
