community that exists within our homes. Whether it’s teaming up to
raise funds for Wish of a Lifetime Canada, volunteering to help others,
or participating in an art class, Chartwell offers a true sense of purpose
and belonging for both our residents and our staff.

Research has shown that remaining socially connected is one of the
greatest factors of living a healthy and happy life - at any age.
Communal living, unlike any other lifestyle option, offers residents
the ability to participate and be as social as they want to be.
This edition of Rendezvous Magazine celebrates the ‘community’
that exists with our residents and staff and between Chartwell and
the neighbourhoods in which we serve. These stories are heart-
warming
and inspiring because they remind me that at
Chartwell, we are living our purpose of
making people’s lives BETTER every day.
