Seasonal Allergy Relief BY TK EL As we welcome the changing of the seasons from winter to spring or from summer to autumn; depending on which side of the equator you reside. It is that time of year when the pollen starts flying in the atmosphere which may cause seasonal allergies for some people. What Causes Seasonal Allergies? During spring, summer and autumn pollen grains are released from weeds, grasses and trees. The tiny pollen grains are travelling to pollenate flowers and sometimes they may travel into the nose, throat and eyes; when this happens an allergic reaction may be triggered. Seasonal allergic rhinitis is commonly called “hay fever”. Seasonal allergies are not as easy to avoid as are other typical allergies; such as food and animals. However, it is advised that during the peak allergy seasons to stay indoors, keep windows closed. 8 REMEDY remedymag.com
