DEFENDER TO CONTENDER
Manchester United and England legend
Rio Ferdinand has teamed up with
Betfair recently to take on a formidable
challenge in attempting to gain a
professional boxing license!
This is not the first time that Betfair
have tried to redefine sporting norms
and encourage crossovers. In 2016 they
worked with Olympic cyclist Victoria
Pendleton in the switching saddles
campaign.
Betfair are consistently looking to
innovate with their activations and their
use of partnerships and this campaign is
no different. Ferdinand indicates that he
has the upmost respect for the sport of
boxing and is taking this extremely
seriously. Watch this space to see how
the training is progressing.
