Exhibition & Sharing Event
An exhibition to share the outcomes of the project was curated by Jenny Smith from Curiosity Productions and was on display from 26th October to 3rd November 2022 . This included a display of photographs and text for each of the projects , which shared the process , thoughts and ideas of the participants . For three projects there were also films showing on a large TV screen . For Gatis / GeoTone there was an installation of mushroom lanterns and a phone box playing back the comments and ideas recorded in it whilst at Gatis Community Centre . GeoTone also created a geolocated audio walk of the comments and ideas of participants that takes people around the streets near NAC on the Echoes app . Kremena Dimitrova ’ s illustrated graphic map of Whitmore Reans drawing together the images , words and ideas from all of the projects , was also displayed . Vimal Korpal led his walking tour around Whitmore Reans on three days . There was a total number of 202 visitors to the exhibition .
The digital content ( films , audio and photographs ) are going to made available as a digital archive of the project on the NAC website by early 2023 . The printed images from the exhibition have been given to each partner for them to display in their own venues .
Kremena ’ s illustrated map is now installed in the NAC studio block .
