Programming | Consider some of the preferences shared by participants for live performance , e . g . reggae music , and explore if and how NAC can present these , and find out where they are also available locally for communities .
Price | Assess existing ticket and café prices , can any adjustments or offers be introduced ? Could this help make NAC more accessible or are there still other barriers present ? How would this affect the existing core audience and repeat attenders ?

Evaluation research findings revealed the following points for NAC to consider for future projects :

Artists | Build in capacity and time for artists to develop a relationship with participants , particularly vulnerable communities and individuals with multiple needs . Artists that share some aspects of lived experience with participants is invaluable for connection and building trust . For example , an artist that has experienced being homeless may be able to relate and connect with a homeless participant more easily or differently than someone that has not . There are multiple advantages to working with a combination of both local and visiting artists for projects with a community focus including the connections , local awareness , perspective and talent they bring . Continue working with both of these .
Marketing | Word of mouth is still the most effective tool to recruit and promote activities , so invest in building relationships with partners that have access to and existing relationships with your target audience , rather than relying solely on marketing tools such as print distribution and social media . This is specifically important for new and vulnerable communities .
Culture and Wellbeing | There is a clear need and interest in creativity activities for wellbeing and mental health that can be considered by NAC in the future , when business-planning for learning and participation .
Managing Expectations | Continue to keep the community involved at all levels of moving forward and decision-making , and maintain a level of transparency to make sure the positive energy and connections built are maintained , for NAC to succeed in having a positive relationship with and serving communities in and around Whitmore Reans .
Human Resources | Build in strong handover procedures for staff departures and ensure that staff deliver on their roles by documenting and recording key connections and relationships , to ensure efficiency of project management during staff transitional periods .
Access | Complete an access audit during planning stages to reduce potential barriers to engagement .
