Last year, in 2017, we had nearly 100 horses en-
tered in our thoroughbred gate races and relay races
throughout the weekend. We have one of the best ½
mile, well maintained tracks around.

and attend our Friday night concert featuring the
country band “Blackhawk”.
Interest information: The NCW Fair began in 1889 as
the Douglas County Industrial Exposition. In the early
1900’s it was called the Waterville Potato Carnival,
later in the 1920’s the Douglas County Fair and in the
1940’s the North Central District Washington District
Fair.
