The STEAM Program at Anoka High School is designed for students who are looking to focus on the real-world application and interdisciplinary nature of their classroom education . Students learn to become critical and creative problem solvers through hands-on and interactive projects .
STEAM also designs and supports new STEAM-inspired electives that are available to all students at Anoka High School . We encourage every AHS student to consider taking part in a STEAM-inspired elective !

Students must have earned a B or better in at least one rigorous science course such as physics , chemistry , environmental science , earth science or biology and have earned a B or better in at least one upper level math course such as algebra 2 / trigonometry , pre-calculus calculus , modeling , probability or statistics .
