A NOTE FROM REGINA’S EDITOR
This is a Special Edition, written and photographed by the young people on our ‘maiden voyage’ to Ireland this year. Though I had my doubts when we embarked on this experiment, Ireland 2017 was an unmitigated success.
Why? Put simply, today’s young adults are hungry for Catholic culture – a legacy which in many ways has been denied them. And, they have a great time traveling together. Our last night in Dublin, they talked me into it. In 2018 Regina Trips goes to Spain, Italy, Ireland, England and Northern California.
REGINA Trips are pilgrimages, but also lots of fun, as you will see. We’re a small group. We stay in great places. We get an insider’s view of history and culture. We hang out with the locals.
But you’ll see all this in the coming pages – as well as in the astounding short film done by young Singaporean film-maker Alex Choong, who accompanied us on our trip.
