Conclusion
Shopping is more than just a single experience. It is a combination of factors, building up to and lasting after your visit. A consumer is not merely subjected to products
and clothing, but to identity, ambience and values. Thus designing not just to please and satisfy but to educate and inspire, sustainable clothing brand, Regenerate and
it’s new premises within Knight and Lee attempt to prove how stylish and achievable sustainability can be. Working with a vacant and tired building and introducing
to it materials which are damaged or otherwise destined for rubbish, elements of the shopping experience which are so often disregarded and overlooked are made
enjoyable and memorable. Working with an urban and industrial theme, the interior of Knight and Lee proves what beauty and worth lies in that which is so regularly
disregarded, mirroring the sustainable identity of it’s client, Regenerate. Not just a shop but a factory, studios and offices, Regenerate’s design sheds light on the hard
work and competence behind clothing production, something which is frequently concealed. By educating consumers on sustainable fashion in an enjoyable and stylish
way, a visit to Knight and Lee not only benefits both consumer and business but the environment. When a person leaves Regenerate they take with them a new found
appreciation and understanding of clothing manufacture and sustainability. The adoption of sustainable habits is not a hindrance or a nuisance but a fashionable and
desirable design feature.
