Renewables systems were specified and
installed by Energy My Way Hertfordshire.
BIPV POWER ROOF installed with a Fronius
inverter, allowing the 4.4 kWp to be used on a
G83 connection.
The driving force was the desire to have
an unobtrusive metal roof with integrated
PV, and a system that would increase the
building's efficiency to achieve an EPC A
rating of over 92, to facilitate a discounted
"Green" mortgage.
The 4.4 kWp PV system, an air source heat
pump, high insulation levels and a low
infiltration rate achieved a rating of 97.

I’ve certainly seen readings at the inverter of
2100 watts in afternoon sun, which is fine for
a 2.4KWP installation.
