disabled people spend each
week. The report also lists

Maxtop Quartz
Surfaces
Maxtop Quartz is a groundbreaking
product that combines the
beauty of natural stone with
engineered enhancements to
deliver a lightweight surface that is
stronger than traditional stone and
significantly easier to install.
It is manufactured with a patented
polypropylene interior honeycomb
core which provides enhanced
impact resistance, lightweight
ergonomics and waterproof
qualities. The innovative surface
has the advantage of a 40mm
depth, as well as an 8mm solid
quartz edge to provide the perfect,
uninterrupted finish to any kitchen.
While solid stone worktop
solutions require around a 3-4
week wait to be ready to fit
from the time of order, Maxtop
Quartz surfaces are available for
immediate sale and installation.
The worktop is supplied from
stock to site and can be fitted with
the equipment used for laminate

Closomat is uniquely
positioned to help address the
problem.
“Can you afford to exclude
up to 20% of the population?
That is how many people are
registered disabled,” explains
Robin Tuffley, Closomat
marketing manger. “However,
Regulations, particularly with
regard to accessible toilet
provision- were not developed
and written by people with
limitations. In reality, the
majority need more space- for
the wheelchair, and/or a carer,
additional equipment- such
as a hoist or changing bench,
particularly as mobility is
now perhaps the biggest
challenge facing disabled
people. Closomat is Britain’s
leading installer of assisted
accessible away from home
toilets, including hygiene
rooms, Changing Places and
Space to Change facilities.
Closomat is also unique in,
in-house, being able to offer
a complete CDM compliant
package, encompassing
design advice, supply, install,
commissioning and service/
maintenance.
