DRU launches new Dik Geurts Aste wood stove
DRU has released a new addition to its Dik Geurts collection of contemporary wood stoves.
Aste is a rectangular stove with a 4.9 kw heat output and a large, clear viewing window.
It has a sturdy construction with classic splayed legs and a smooth anthracite finish. The flames and
heat settings are adjusted by a simple slide control and there is a cool touch handle.
Aste can be installed as a freestanding stove or inserted into an inglenook chimney opening. It has
the option of an external air version for clean burning and high efficiency.
The Aste, just like all the Dik Geurts stoves, is Eco Design ready with an A+ energy rating. From
January 2018, all gas fires and wood stoves must conform with this European directive.

Launch Of Eco Gas Safety Shut Off Valve
An Electro-Hydraulic Gas Safety Shut-off Valve used in commercial and domestic applications across
the globe has undergone a series of subtle changes to enhance its environmental credentials and
enjoy new and improved features.
Manufactured in the UK by renowned product name Black Teknigas the Powerseat® Eco will benefit
from a LED display detailing the status of the valve, increased external environmental protection
to IP56 equivalent, a manual re-set switch in all versions and screwless, quick connections for
installation of electrics all of which will assist installers and those that manage the system
on a daily basis.
Using just a fraction of the energy (6%) required by a permanently energised magnetic solenoid
valve, it delivers approximately 768kg less carbon emission when compared against a comparable
