Bukwaz served as a faculty
member, dean and in enroll-
ment for more than four
decades and continues to
work in Siena Heights’ Grad-
uate and Professional Stud-
ies Department. He currently
is the director of the Bach-
elor of Applied Science Pro-
gram. The Honorary Alumni
Award recognizes non-alum-
ni of Siena Heights who
demonstrate exceptional
commitment to and sup-
port for the mission and
spirit of the University. Bailey is currently the Guest
Experience Manager for
Stock Replenishment at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
in Orlando, Fla. He has
worked with celebrities such
as Prince Harry, George Lu-
cas and J.K. Rowling. The
Recent Graduate Award rec-
ognizes alumni who have
graduated within the past
10 years, and whose profes-
sional achievement, commu-
nity involvement and/or civic
commitment demonstrate
dedication to Christian val-
ues and the spirit of Siena
Heights University. Sissen has worked in the
SHU Library for more than
30 years as an associate
professor of Library Science
and currently serves as ref-
erence and public services
librarian. The Sister Ann
Joachim Award recognizes
significant contributions to
the University and/or com-
munity through activities
that demonstrate strong
leadership and the capacity
to confront issues head
on while maintaining the
image and spirit of Siena
Heights University. Love had a distinguished
career with the Michigan
State Police and is currently
the owner of Harold Love
and Associates in Southfield,
Mich. His company focuses
on behavioral health ser-
vices for public safety pro-
fessionals. The Outstanding
Alumni Award recognizes
outstanding professional
achievements and/or volun-
teer contributions to pro-
mote Siena positively to the
community, demonstrate
strong leadership character-
istics and serve as signifi-
cant role models for others. Sister Norton was an edu-
cator for more than 50 years
at St. Thomas Aquinas High
School in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The Saint Dominic Award
recognizes commitment to
Christian education in fam-
ily, school or community.
