2—Drum major Dominic DiPietro, son of SHU
faculty member Mark DiPietro ‘83, leads the
Adrian High School marching band onto the
field for the first home football game. The AHS
band provided the pre-game and halftime
entertainment and was the first band to ever
perform on Dawson Field.

Homecoming Weekend, with many groups and
organizations participating in the festivities.
6—SHU sophomore quarterback Matt King
led the Saints to a 42-6 victory on Oct. 8 during
Homecoming, and an 8-1 overall record for the
innaugural football season.
