According to the Battle Creek Enquirer, the probability of having twins without taking fertility drugs or undergoing fertility treatments is about 1 in 80-90 pregnancies. The chance of having two sets of twins, one identical and one fraternal, is as rare as 1 out of 6,400 pregnancies, the paper reported.
