Campaign Update
Education With a Mission
Last spring, Siena Heights
unveiled a $12.5 million campaign
to strengthen the University by
supporting students, achieving
academic distinction and
ensuring a vibrant learning
environment. At the kick-off in
May, campaign commitments
stood at $6.6 million; early in
the New Year, the total surpassed
$9 million. The campaign runs
through December 2003.
The Campaign for Siena Heights
University offers everyone the
opportunity to shape the future
of Siena Heights—at a time when
mission-driven education is more
important than ever. Through the
campaign, alumni and friends
can:
• Encourage the development of
future teachers, physicians,
researchers and
mathematicians by
contributing to the renovation
of our math, science and
computing facilities.
• Promote awareness of ethical
issues facing today’s citizens
by helping to endow the new
ethics lecture series.
• Support physical fitness and a
balanced lifestyle by investing
in the expansion of the
Fieldhouse to include a
modern fitness center.
Those are just a few elements in
this exciting campaign. The chart
below lists the major priorities—
and progress—of the campaign. For

and giving opportunities,
