18 Big Dreams, Big Progress his is a truly exciting time at Siena Heights, when alumni and friends are stepping forward to ensure the growth and strength of student-centered, valuesbased education. In the following pages, you’ll meet some of the people whose generosity is making a difference for Siena Heights. People like Connie Farver ’83 and her husband, Herb, whose wonderful gift to the Siena Heights Library will benefit students for generations. Or Bob Price, a fellow Trustee, whose personal Annual Fund challenge to alumni helped generate a 43% increase in financial support from graduates of Siena Heights. Or the late Barbara Wojtyszewski ‘47, whose quiet belief in her Adrian Dominican roots resulted in a bequest of stunning proportions. Just as important, however, are the people you’ll meet by reading the lists of names in this catalog of Siena Heights donors for 1999-2000. They are graduates, parents, friends and neighbors of the University. They are you and me. They are individuals whose love of Siena Heights led them to contribute gifts of $25, or $100, or $500 or $
