Lyn Matyn Zolnoski ‘88 of Sterling
Heights writes: “My husband David
and I run a Winterguard out of Sterling
Heights. We also run the Stockade
game out at the Michigan Renaissance
Festival.”
Linda Arnett ‘89 is the new board
president of the YMCA of Lenawee
County. In her two-year term, she will
seek to continue to expand
membership, positively affect retention
and increase programming.
Joseph Cusick ‘89 and his wife,
Stephanie, announce the Dec. 12, 1998
birth of their first child, Kevin Bernard.
The Cusicks live in Independence, KY.
Joseph works for Fidelity Investments.
John Whiting ‘89/MA lives in Adrian
where he is a private counselor and
teaches psychology at Jackson
Community College.
Beth Brumme Cassidy ‘89 and her
husband, Kevin, of Grosse Pointe Park
celebrated the birth of their third child,
Christopher William, Dec. 15, 1998.
Sister Katy is 7 and Kevin Jr. is 4. Beth
writes: “I am staying home with my
kids and loving it!”
Sharon Gould Kosmas ‘89 and her
husband, Charles, of St. Clair Shores
announce the birth of a daughter,
Jacqueline, June 1, 1998.
Mike ‘85 and Anne Weber Quinn ‘89
report that “our second future Saint was
born April 22, 1998. Ryan Michael
joined his sister Kelly to make up a
house full of Saints supporters.” The
Quinns live in Vicksburg.
Melissa Dudar Scully ‘89 and her
husband, Josh, of Ann Arbor announce
the birth of their first child, Quinlan
Edward, Oct. 3, 1998. Melissa and
Josh were married June 14, 1997.
Melissa is an engineering supervisor at
Johnson Controls in Plymouth, where
she has worked for 10 years designing
molded car seat components such as
headrests and armrests.
Mark ‘89 and Laurie Bailey
Thalman ‘91 are living in Crystal
Lake, IL, with children Richard (5) and
Bethany (3). Mark is a software
engineer for Parallel Software.
Joseph Balusik ‘90 is a color
development specialist for OwensIllinois in Toledo, where he lives with
his wife Christy. “Life on wheels is not

Scott Dienes ‘90 recently joined the
Grand Rapids office of Dickinson
Wright PLLC, a full-service law firm
with additional offices in Detroit,
Bloomfield Hills, Lansing, and
Washington DC, with an affiliate in
Chicago. The 21 attorneys at the Grand
Rapids office represent a wide range
of business and government clients
including corporations, banks,
professional firms, government
agencies and municipalities. An
associate of the firm, Scott practices in
Dickinson Wright’s municipal law and
public finance section.
Kenneth ‘90 and Anita Singh
Ferreira ‘90 of Roseville, CA, report
the November 18, 1998, birth of their
son, Matthew Kenneth.
Allan Harris ‘90 and his wife Josie
were married May 16, 1998. They live
in Elizabeth City, NC. Allan is CEO/
President of Harris Enterprises in
Virginia Beach, VA, and expects to
receive his MBA later this year from
Troy State University.
Terry Ican ‘90 of Falls Church, VA,
is a theatrical stage technician/stage
manager with Prostage Inc./ABC
News. He married Sabrina Leckner
Sept. 5, 1998, and recently became a
member of the Directors Guild of
America, the union of television and
screen directors and stage managers.
Sue Remington Jacobs ‘90 is a
certified public accountant who last
year purchased the accounting firm
where she had worked since her junior
year at Siena Heights. She now
operates Susan Jacobs and Co. P.C.
with offices in Ann Arbor and
Pinckney. The firm focuses on tax
planning and tax returns for small,
family-owned businesses. She and her
husband Steve live in Chelsea with
daughter Jordan (2).
Jeff Johnston ‘90 lives in Indiana with
his wife, Carla, and four children ages
15, 11, 7, and 1. In addition to restoring
a 1906 Victorian home and running a
part-time picture framing business
which includes conservation
