Meditation He who meditates on Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, his mind constantly engaged in remembering Me, undeviated from the path, he, O Pärtha, is sure to reach Me. - BG 8:8 - One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of every- thing, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceiv- able, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun, and He is transcendental, beyond this material nature. - BG 8:9 - One cannot meditate on something impersonal or void. - BG 8:9, purport - One should hold one’s body, neck and head erect in a straight line and stare steadily at the tip of the nose. Thus, with an unagitated, subdued mind, devoid of fear, completely free from sex life, one should meditate upon Me within the heart and make Me the ultimate goal of life. - BG 6:13-14 - - 89 -
