Tolerance
In the proper discharge of duty,
one has to learn to tolerate nonpermanent
appearances and disappearances of
happiness and distress.
- BG 2:14, purport -
Kñamä, tolerance and forgiveness, should be practised; one should
be tolerant and excuse the minor offenses of others.
- BG 10:4-5, purport -
Tolerance means that one should be practised to bear insult and
dishonour from others. If one is engaged in the advancement
of spiritual knowledge, there will be so many insults and much
dishonour from others. This is expected because material nature is
