IN AN ONGOING EFFORT TO CONTINUE FOSTERING COLLABORATIONS WITH OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY PROVIDERS , REENTRY SERVICES IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO ORGANIZATIONS WHO SERVE AS A RESOURCE TO INDIVIDUALS UNDER DCS SUPERVISION . WE APPRECIATE ALL THOSE WHO ARE DEDICATED TO PROVIDING JUSTICE INVOLVED INDIVIDUALS WITH NOT JUST A SECOND CHANCE , BUT A BETTER CHANCE . WE ARE HERE TO SUPPORT IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE .

Alcovy Circuit

FISH ( Faith In Serving Humanity ) recently celebrated 30 years of service to the citizens of Walton County . FISH provides food , clothing and financial assistance to Walton County residents in need .
As volunteers , we assembled individual care packages that included toiletries and food items for distribution . By helping with the assembly of these packages , individuals and families can easily receive the things they need through the drive through service provided without having to exit their vehicles .

Douglas Circuit

Shinnah Haven , which means New Beginnings , is an organized homeless encampment . The camp has solar panels , showers , port-apotties , and waste removal . The Reentry Service staff made and distributed hygiene packages to include bottled water and toiletries .
In addition , we donated a large quantity of gently worn professional and business attire clothing and shoes for men and women seeking employment to Carol ’ s Closet which was started by our Community Coordinator , Carol Chateau .
REENTRY WORK IS SOUL WORK . IT ’ S HOLY AND SACRED WORK . IT ’ S AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER WITH INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES , TO SHARE IN A JOURNEY WHERE WE ALL PLAY A ROLE IN THE FLOURISHING OF ONE ANOTHER . IT ’ S AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE , NOT JUST TODAY , BUT FOR GENERATIONS TO COME .
