Dell hosted a roundtable in conjunction with Apps for Good, the brainchild of non-profit organisation Center for Digital Inclusion (CDI) Europe, on Tuesday 15th May 2012 at The Hoxton Apprentice in London. The Apps for Good initiative develops talented and employable young people by running courses on creating mobile and Facebook applications (apps). The roundtbale was hosted by CDI Trustee Charles Leadbetter (pictured, left), a leading authority on innovation and creativity in education.
Dell hosts technology roundtable
US-based Asian entrepreneur Sramana Mitra (pictured, right), A&N Media and Britain's TechHub teamed up to launch 'Battle Of The Start-Ups' on 22nd May 2012 in London where ten leading start-ups had the chance to pitch to a panel of judges including Sramana Mitra and a team from A&N Media, whose recent successes include the launch of Metro tablet edition and a record readership for MailOnline. Five 1M1M scholarships were awarded on the night.
Battle of the 'Start-Ups'
The Z Factor' exhibition, celebrating the contribution made by Zoroastrians to India and the UK, was launched at The Women's Library, London Metropolitan University on 23rd May 2012. The exhibition, curated by Zerbanoo Gifford (pictured, far right), author, human rights campaigner and founder of the Asha Centre, was opened by the guest of honour, Baroness Royall of Blaisdon.
