Conservative Friends of India
UK Prime Minister David Cameron launched the Conservative Friends of India (CFIN) group on 24th April 2012 at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London to an assembled gathering of 1,200 British Indian guests. The Prime Minister was introduced by Lord Dolar Popat Chairman of CFIN. The Prime Minister's speech was followed by an address by the new Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Dr Jagdish Bhagwati and the speeches closed with a vote of thanks by Stephen Hammond MP, Chairman of the Conservative Parliamentary Friends of India.
