Official Call Parade: Around 40 comparsas parade through the streets of the South and Palermo neighborhoods. Medialunas, stars, flags, brightness and the contagious rhythm of the drum introduce us to the biggest festival of Afro-Uruguayan culture, and its Candombe, declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO.
