The three lures I love the most
are Zereks, distributed by Wilson
Fishing. Lure Number One is the
Zerek Barra X Pro 120mm. Stunned
Mullet (SM) is my favourite colour,
and I have caught many fish on
this single lure alone. Mine looks
a little worse for wear these days,
and I should really be hanging it up
on the retirement rack for display
of all the memories we share. This
lure has been absolutely trashed by
fish and still swims perfectly. It has
teeth marks in it, but this does not
change the action of the lure. These
things are just about bulletproof
straight out of the box. The Barra
X Pro comes in 100mm, 120mm,
and 170mm floating models, with
a magnetic casting control system
which reduces the tumble when
being cast and helps spear tail first
into the water on landing.
