Eastside Area Structure Plan Update
Staff are currently working on an update to the Eastside Area Structure Plan. Area Structure Plans provide a framework that describe proposed land use, population density, and major roadway location. Public Consultation will be planned for early Spring.
Northside Area Structure Plan & Functional Servicing Report Update
Administration has recently requested proposals for an update to the Northside Industrial Area Structure Plan and Functional Servicing Report. These documents ensure that land use planning within the neighboring areas align with our vision and goals for the area.
Jesmond Lift Station Upgrades
The Town will be doing some maintenance work at the Jesmond Lift Station this spring to deal with odor and ongoing maintenance issues. Disruption to residents should be minimal.
Land Use Bylaw Update
Administration will be working on updating the Land Use Bylaw in 2022. The Land Use Bylaw applies to all land and buildings within the Town and regulates the use and development of land. Any development within Town must conform to the Land Use Bylaw. Public engagement with residents and business owners will be required, so look for notification this Fall!
