FITNESS & WELLNESS CLASSES

Visit the website or the front desk for the most current class schedule. Classes are drop-in and are limited in size. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior. Class schedule is subject to change based on season and demand. The RMC participates in the SilverSneakers program.
General Class Descriptions
Cardio Conditioning � Back to Basics: A low impact class with cardio and sculpting for the beginner. � Boot Camp: A higher intensity workout with cardio and muscle building exercises. � Step I: A basic class introducing terms and moves with simple choreography. � Zumba: An energetic class utilizing international music and dance moves. � Kick Boxing: A cardio workout using punches and kicks to increase heart rate. � Step It Up: A higher intensity step class with intermediate step choreography. � Zumba Gold: A Zumba class with modified moves and pacing. � Tabata: A higher intensity workout. Class format: 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest.
Muscular Conditioning � Body Sculpt: An overall workout to tone and shape using bars, weights, balls, etc. � Lower Body Tone: An intense 30 minute class designed to target the lower body. � Upper Body Tone: An intense 30 minute class designed to target the upper body. � SilverSneakers Classic: A variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and range of motion. A chair can be used for seated or standing support. � Sculpting and Abs: A resistance training workout. � Zumba Toning: A 30 minute class utilizing light weights.
Mixed Conditioning � Ball / Bosu: A 30 minute class focusing on balance, cardio, strength and core training. � Cardio Sculpt: A hi / low workout followed by body sculpting. � C. O. R. E: A full body conditioning class. � Power Fit: A higher intensity class focusing on power, endurance and agility. � Power Step: A moderate to high intensity, low to high impact class with body toning. � Pumped: An upbeat weightlifting class using body bars and dumb bells. � SilverSneakers Circuit: A cardio workout followed by muscular conditioning using basic steps and resistance tools. A chair can be used for seated or standing support. � Step, Cycle & Sculpt: An intermediate class: 20 min step, 20 min cycle, 15 min sculpt.
Mind and Body Conditioning � Gentle Yoga: A traditional pose class for a morning stretch and relaxation. � Revitalize Yoga: A class designed to help posture, breathing and flexibility. � Yoga: A slow paced class focusing on strength, flexibility, relaxation and breathing. � Pilates: A mat exercise class designed to improve posture, strength & flexibility. � Power Yoga: A more physical yoga workout using various yoga poses / asanas. � SilverSneakers Yoga: A variety of beginning yoga postures and breathing exercises.
A chair is used for support. Class is designed to build flexibility and endurance. � Yogalates: A combination of both Pilates and Yoga in a one-hour class. � Restore-Renew Yoga: A basic level yoga class incorporating comfortable poses. � Gong Meditation: A meditation class that uses gong sounds and vibrations. � Simply Stretch: A class designed to increase flexibility, range of motion & balance.
