What would you say makes a Native (Indigenous) woman strong? For me, what makes a Native woman strong is our inner spirit; we walk with the spirit of our ancestors in every step. We as women have come so far socially and economically, we honor our culture and our people as a part of our daily lifestyle, which not many other people can say. This is what makes us strong. If you were a cartoon character, who would you be and why? If I were a cartoon character, I think I would be Lisa Simpson. She is musical and extremely passionate about social issues and the state of the world, I believe she is the voice of today’s 8 yr olds, and that would certainly be me. www.redhoneymag.net Archive Edition 2013 49
