Initially, when Red Honey Magazine went on hiatus, it was because it became even bigger than we four sisters originally considered and we needed to rethink our strategy. Now that we are back, the excitement for this project has almost been overwhelming. Its been a nice little trip down memory lane when selecting the articles to go in our first archive edition. Take for instance our 2006 Native Hip Hop issue, this was our most popular issue at the time and it was a great time for all of us in discovering new artists and hearing some of the back story for our favorites. (We’ve included almost all of the interviews in our music section). A personal favorite of mine is our Beautifully Native section. In that section, you’ll get to hear what well known Native actors and singers feel about beauty and get their favorite beauty products, too! For those of you who remember us, welcome back! For you who are just now becoming familiar with Red Honey Magazine, welcome! Stick around because the best is yet to come! I wish you well, Linda Clark The Red Honey Staff 2 redhoneymag.net Archive Edition 2013
