A SPOOKY GOOD TIME My daughters are in college now and too old for trickor-treating, but they still love to come over before or on Halloween to carve pumpkins, roast the seeds, bake treats, and watch our favorite spooky movies from when they were younger, including several Scooby Doo movies. We also had some favorite picture books from this time of year, including The House that Drac Built, Boogie Bones, and The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything. Whether you are celebrating this occasion or not, we hope you enjoy the fall temperatures - which are hopefully getting cooler! – and take the time to enjoy reading with your children regularly. Don’t forget to also keep an eye out for the little ghosts and goblins in the neighborhood on the big night! Warm wishes, Tammy Bennecke PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER [email protected] RED APPLE READING 3
