SPECIAL EVENTS & PROGRAMS
In addition to our diverse selection of program and service offerings,
Recreation & Wellness is proud to offer and host a number of featured
programs and events:
Monarch Welcome Rec Fest
Hosted in partnership with the Student Activities Council, Rec Fest is an fun
filled and active evening that showcases what Recreation & Wellness has
to offer to our students as well as how to get involved on campus.
Royal Court Homecoming Tournament
In addition to Homecoming festivities, our Intramural program is proud
to host the Homecoming Royal Court 3v3 Basketball Tournament where
teams compete in a bracket-style competition.
Blue Goes PINK Week
A week of remembrance and activity where students and members
are encouraged to work out in pink as well as honor loved ones on our
memorial wall. We also support other campus awareness efforts such as
the Breastival & Fun Walk, and Relay for Life during the month of October.
Climb On Competition
Part of the Eastern Edge Climbing series, the Climb on Climbing
Competition is an annual rock climbing competition where participants
from schools like ODU, ECU, Duke University, JMU, and UNC compete.
Annual Triathlon
A multi-sport experience featuring events for both adult and youth
participants. Events include: swimming, biking, and running.
