Stress is part of our lives , no matter what stage you are in . Learn ways to manage it so it doesn ’ t manage you . This lecture will give you techniques to help minimize the effects of stress with coping techniques such as time management , setting priorities and learning to accept change .

Sea Country Fitness Center for Adults 50 +
The fitness center has 15 pieces of equipment for cardio , strength , and flexibility training .
Hours of Operation Monday – Friday , 9am-4pm Saturday , 9am-12pm
Annual Fitness Center Fee Residents :
• $ 25 for Group Equipment Orientation
• $ 45 for an Individual Equipment Orientation
Non-Residents :
• $ 40 for Group Equipment Orientation
• $ 60 for an Individual Equipment Orientation
The Fitness Center is located within the Sea Country Senior and Community Center . A registration packet that includes a registration form , liability waiver , and medical release form signed by your doctor , is required at the time of registration . Proof of residency is required by showing a utility bill . Fitness center membership cards will be issued once all required forms are submitted , and an equipment orientation has been completed .
Line Dancing
Line Dancing is a fun and easy way to get moving . Come learn this popular dance and get in shape at the same time ! This class is appropriate for beginners and intermediate students . No partners needed , no experience needed , and all levels are welcome ! Come have fun with us !

Gentle Yoga
Suited for seniors as well as those wanting a gentler approach to yoga . Covers gentle stretches in seated poses , standing or laying down on back or belly . Sometimes chairs are used , or the wall . Much focus on breathing , adapting , adjusting , and accommodating are encouraged .

Restorative Yoga
Stay in supported gentle yoga positions for 5-10 minutes with aids ( blankets , blocks , bolsters , straps and lavenderfilled eye pillows ) to release stress , tension and physical issues . Chairs are used for some poses and are always available . Class starts promptly at 6pm and ends at 7pm . Please arrive early to collect your materials and get settled . Materials : The center has mats , blocks , blankets , bolsters ( limited ) and straps , but feel free to bring your own .
