Who said there was no such thing as a free lunch? You can almost always find a free lunch meal any day during the week- and learn some good information while you’re at it! Most noon-time meetings (club meetings/ class meetings/guest speakers, etc.) will provide lunch and a wealth of knowledge. Or be a tour guide and get free lunch too! FREE STUFF AROUND CAMPUS
There are a wide variety of amenities available to students on campus, but you have to know where to look!
Ice machine in the student lounge. Relax by playing some ping pong, foosball, and pool in the gameroom. Microwaves & fridges are located throughout campus for your convenience. There is a paper shredder by the helpdesk as well as an outgoing mailbox by the helpdesk and in the bookstore
Buy postage or stamps (they’ll even ship packages for you!) at the bookstore. Free water- almost every water fountain has a convenient “hydration station” for refills
ASICS discounts
As a podiatry student, you will receive a Fall and Spring catalog for Asics footwear , and receive a 40% discount on those select shoes!
SUBWAY REWARDS CARD
I’ve been told that if you go to Subway (the one on Ingersoll) and they see your DMU ID, they will automatically give you a subway rewards card that has great discounts like, “Buy one sub get one free”, etc. So, show your school pride the next time you’re at Subways (on Ingersoll)!
