11.50 – 12.50 - Lunch-time
Universal Free school meals
Every child in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is offered a free school meal. This is in addition
to the free school meals service offered to pupils whose parents are in receipt of qualifying
benefits. We offer hot and cold options, which provide a good nutritional balance. Parents
may choose to send a packed lunch. We work with parents to ensure lunches are healthy
and do not include confectionary items or fizzy drinks.
12.50pm– 3.05pm - Afternoon learning
Pupils have further opportunity to play and learn in both the indoor and outdoor classroom.
Pupils are taught through a balance of child initiated play and adult led activities.
3.05pm - End of the school day
Children are collected from classroom doors. Children are dismissed as the teacher sees
the adult is there to collect. We ask that parents and carers are patient in the early stages
as we get to know you.
Please inform the school if there is a change to who is collecting your child. No child can be
picked up by another child under 18 years of age.
