Upcoming Events Friends of the Arts Poetry Contest and Reading April 25, 2018 10am Location: A.D. Lewis Auditorium Friends of the Arts was founded in 2015 by the English Department at Robeson Community College. Its goal is to promote student and faculty creativity. Two annual events hosted by the department are the fall Writing Showcase and the spring Poetry and Prose Contest. Additionally, the department and the RCC Foundation sponsor a Short Story contest during the Book’ Em North Carolina Writers Conference. Transfer Student Recognition Ceremony May 10, 2018 5pm Location: BB&T Room, Workforce Development Building Curriculum Commencement May 15, 2018 11am Through the RCC Foundation’s Program Funds, monies donated to the Friends of the Arts are used to support these annual events.
