The quality of our people is what sets Rea apart from other firms. As we implemented The Rea Advantage, our team really stepped up their efforts to become“ famous,” and many of them were recognized for their efforts last year. Here’ s a summary of all that we accomplished last year as individuals and as a firm.

Lorraine Bruns( Lima) is promoted to office administrator.

Annie Yoder( New Philadelphia) and Joe Welker( New Philadelphia) write a chapter called“ Digging for Data, Mining for Fraud” in the book Corporate Fraud: The Executive’ s Survival Guide.

Joe Popp( Dublin) is published in The Ohio State Bar Association’ s quarterly publication, Fine Print. His article is titled:“ Offering Certain Reimbursement Plans Without Offering Health Insurance Can Lead to Excise Tax Trouble.”

Rebecca Weiand( Administration / New Philadelphia) speaks to University of Akron students about understanding and analyzing Web and social media results.

Abbey Kanellakis( Administration / Dublin) serves as a judge for the 2015 Covering The Story competition presented by Community Shares of Mid Ohio. The event honors media outlets that helped raise awareness of the work being done by area nonprofits.

Lee Beall( Administration / Dublin) is featured in articles in QuickRead and InsideCounsel about Red Flag Reporting.

Mike Taylor( Millersburg) presents to livestock dealers about the basic principles of accounting.

Brent Ardit( Dublin) presents“ How Current Tax Law Changes Affect Your Business” at the National Ground Water Association conference.

Joe Popp is interviewed by the Ohio Society of CPAs( OSCPA) about Form1095-C as part of its OSCPA Spotlight video series.

JANUARY 2016

Jeremy Senften( Administration / New Philadelphia) is promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
