TAX REFORM RESOURCE CENTER THE BDO ALLIANCE USA

To provide our clients with valuable insight and guidance in response to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, our tax army developed a comprehensive Tax Reform Resource Center, which can be found at www.reacpa.com/taxreform. Here, you’ll find resources to make tax reform easier to navigate – resources such as webinars, podcasts, blog posts, FAQs, articles, whitepapers and more. In October 2018, Rea joined The BDO Alliance USA, a nationwide association of independently owned local and regional accounting, consulting and service firms with similar client service goals. As a member, our firm can draw on the resources of The BDO Alliance USA as well as all alliance members. BDO is one of the industry’s largest alliances with more than 650 independent firms nationwide and 1,500 firms globally. As we continue to grow, this membership will allow us to better to serve our clients as they expand regionally, nationally and globally.

REA IS CEFEX CERTIFIED

Last year, Rea became the third firm in Ohio and the 48th firm in the nation to be certified by CEFEX (Centre for Fiduciary Excellence) as adhering to the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries Standard of Practice for Retirement Plan Service Providers. Upon completing this certification process, we joined an elite class that follows third party administration best practices to help plan sponsors fulfill their fiduciary obligations. This is a testament to how Rea puts its clients’ interests first and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, transparency and accountability.

WALTHALL MERGER … ONE YEAR LATER

What a difference a year makes! In the year after our merger with Walthall CPAs, we have seen great growth in the Northeast Ohio region. From the addition of nearly 350 clients to office expansion resulting from the strategic hires of Paul Gregory and Jenn Pedersen in Amherst and senior managers Jeff Barber and Michael Camardo in Cleveland. We have a lot to be proud of, including the fact that the region was named a Top Workplace by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Perhaps even more exciting has been the amount of collaboration going on throughout the region and beyond. We are looking forward to even more growth and teamwork in the year ahead.
