' The bottom line is with real estate , there ' s actual need . It ' s not like stocks or Bitcoin or where you don ' t need those things . People need to live in a house , they need to expand , they have a family , or they need to move .'

“ Now , Florida is a bastion for people who don ’ t want to have government intervention and mandates , but I think as we accept whatever role COVID is going to play in our in our lives , you won ' t have the disparity between different states as much as you do now .”
However , all these issues don ’ t necessarily mean people won ’ t return to Los Angeles and New York , according to Oppenheim .
“ Moving forward into 2022 , 2023 , and 2024 , I think that we will see people returning to the big cities ,” he said . “ And I think that those areas that have seen that huge boom , we ' ll probably see that they will come down a little bit .” Overall , densely populated metropolitan areas are still the best investment , in Oppenheim ’ s opinion .
“ I do think that these large cities will eventually get a handle on the homelessness problem and on the crime problem ,” he said . “ And I think that there ' ll be a sense of normalcy soon .”
