Holly takes it offline at least
twice a month to bring together
active investors, industry experts,
and professionals who you need on
your power team. Each month she
hosts two live classes. One is on
the 3rd Tuesday of every month in
Fremont, CA, and one on the 3rd
Wednesday of every month in San
Francisco. These are packed out,
free events, where you get to hear
live from the experts on everything
from syndicating investment
properties to networking, and
getting to meet Holly in person.
Super-Hosting: Short-
term Rentals…and
Scandal
In addition to hosting the most
popular Bay Area real estate meet
ups and mixers, being an
invaluable source of private capital
for real estate funding, and being a
partner in a brokerage, Holly is
also a super hostess with short
term rentals such as airbnb,
Booking.com, and others
She tells us, “It’s the love of my
life, and it’s great to see my clients
receive passive income checks
from properties that I help them
fill.”
Her adventure in vacation
rentals all started with someone
couchsurfing at her place years
ago. That grew to adding a spare
room to lease, and helping friends
who had extra space. As for
becoming a highly rated as
‘Superhost’ on one of the hottest
online real estate platforms today,
Holly is blunt about the work it
60
takes. “It means screening renters
very well, being incredibly fast and
responsive, and always delivering
a great experience.”
While some media outlets and
airbnb haters seem to thrive on
trying to dig up airbnb horror
stories, Holly’s most scandalous
moment so far has been having to
calm down the frantic cigarette
grasping woman whose overnight
guests definitely made the most of
their night’s stay in the boisterous
throes of passion. So, just keep in
mind that if you’ve got paper thin
walls, and a couple staying in the
next room for the night, you might
want to keep some ear plugs
handy, or provide them for your
guests if you are planning a fun
evening in with your own partner.
