While it important to recognize your gifts and strengths it is equally important to recognize your
weaknesses. The ability to recognize your weaknesses is strength. Those who refuse to
acknowledge their weaknesses will continue in the same cycle and wonder why they cannot move
forward. When you refuse not to hide your weaknesses from yourself, acknowledge them and then
you can make a plan to correct them. For example, if your weakness is the fear of public speaking,
you can gradually build up to speaking in front of others. First you can practice at home, second you
can practice in front of a few friends, third you can try social media live streaming, and finally you
can get out begin public speaking.
While you are trying to improve your life and reach for your dreams, not everyone will be supportive.
At times, you have to be willing to move forward with the dream even if you have to do it alone for a
season. It is important to stay focused no matter who supports you. You must remember that God is
in your corner and HE will not let you down. HE is the one who placed the dreams, gifts and abilities
inside of you and you are moving forward to let your light shine and to give God the glory. It will at
times be discouraging when some people who are closest to you do not support you. God will send
the right people to help and encourage you. Some of the people may be your friends and family but
the majority of the people will be people you have not met yet. Do not worry God will place the right
people in your life just make sure you get in the position to receive them. You can get into position
by going to events and networking.
The journey to success will be rough. If you are expecting a smooth journey to success, it will not
happen. Everyone that has worked for their dream has encountered obstacles along the way. There
will be obstacles put in place to discourage you. At times, it will seem as though there is a mountain
that you just cannot get over and it refuses to move. Refuse to back down and pray. God will move
the mountain if you hold on and faint not. Hold onto the promises that God made you. Believe in
your ability to become successful. When you have those moments of doubt remind yourself of why
you began this journey in the first place. If you can remember why you started, it will give you the
fuel to continue your journey. If you stay focused and deep in prayer, you will make it. No matter
what comes in your direction never, give up. God has given you the victory. It is already done. Keep
moving and keep believing. You are going to make it.
