In real life, with real scenarios relative to how we manifest good options for progressive activity, not everyone has a purposeful blueprint for success. The key to all that I want to espouse has more to do with heralding people making positive differences while impacting needed changes for wisdom to be instrumental. Welcome me as I continue to enhance the legacy, and add to what this magazine is known for. Past, present, and subsequent contributors will always be the lynchpin for what we want to achieve here. My job is to make sure that we transcend all of the above to magnificent proportion. I’m on a mission, and need the soldiers to complete it with purpose. In this quarter the theme is PURPOSE, and what are some of the principles that define destiny, positioning and perseverance. I chose this theme because more of society in these troubling times has allowed mediocrity to proliferate, thus causing doubt that success cannot be attained. There are certain circumstances that warrant our attention relative how we’re living and to what extent should purpose exact future endeavors. We’re all on perpetual journeys where we have no choice but to carve out a niche that will serve us well, and be subservient to our Lord and Savior. It can be a journey, taking a person from the

imperfection of humanity to a personal and everlasting relationship with a perfect God. The starting point for the Christian journey is an experience that makes a person realize that there is a God, and that through Him we’re given a dictum to realize purpose with a date with destiny.

The installment indicative of this quarter’s magazine has a lot to do with how we view destiny. It’s no coincidence that the beginning of each new year we resolve to start anew and vow to allow change to validate making wise decisions to give us reasons to excel. This in a sense is a new beginning for me. I’ve been tapped to lend expertise to real life real faith initiatives that all previous editions adhered to. Is this a challenge for me? Of course! Senior Managing Editors are always pushed to the brink of accomplished value for enhanced production. But you should know that it takes a committed mindset to elicit any modicum of success. I can’t do it without adequate help where your contribution would make a difference. Teamwork makes the dream work, which is a cherished adage of mine. With that said, I’m looking forward to any contributor that has given this magazine a voice to continue to be vociferous and valued for a sense of continuity. This edition includes articles consisting of components that bolster purposeful intent, i.e, Passion, Positioning, and Perseverance. The cover story

gives a unique and personal

view of how one person uses her brand to uphold why purpose is so essential with her brand of Vonnology. You will get to love Cherilyn Vonn in that respect. The dependable Kathy Robbins Maqsood brings us a seasonal look at Purpose. Then there’s best-selling author Gloria Mallette paying homage to being Born With A Purpose; Spiritual Advisor Mavis Jackson Romer is on tap to give her take on Pathways to Purpose; Yours truly is not left out in this…my contribution entitled, The Damascus Road Experience with a Purpose. There’s much more to explore with the agenda speaking to wisdom, destiny and using purpose much more than a metaphor without a plan. My question to you as I partake on this journey—can we be a team again? I’m counting on your inner reserve to spring forth from the bowels of your soul to write like hell and give this effort more to fathom.

The CEO of the Conglomerate has given me carte blanche to infuse life into this venture with the sudden departure of the past Managing Editor, but guess what? There’s still light at the end of the tunnel where illuminated value will shine and be apropos to our destiny. If you’re game, you will join me. Let’s DO this!
