communities. For tax reasons it’s
hard pressed to find an athlete who
does not give some of his money
back for tax shelters. The public has
no idea that it is standard that well
paid sports figure can’t escape giving,
even if it’s not from their heart.
Sidebar: The public loves to scream
what some athletes or celebrity need
or should do with their money. The
common earner might want to stand
back, and think, would we like
someone telling them what to do
with their paycheck.
Back to role models: Even more so
than a college kid, the pro athlete is
pursued and people roll out the red
carpet just to be in their company.
They have money, notoriety, they can
have groupies, they have so many
pats on the back for what they do on
the playing field that an athlete can
confuse reality. When it comes to
women, sports figures can see
women as objects to conquer and
control much like an opponent they
want to bat and win over. Add primal
science VS the soul with any of the

conference to ask for forgiveness, a
reinstatement and, “I’m glad to be
back with my teammates.” All the
while we the public try the case in the
media and social media where
people attack each other from behind
a computer screen.
Common people attack each other
from behind computer/cellphone
screens. They should be role models;
parents, officer workers, and guys
and gals in the bar. Neighbors and
strangers wearing apposing jerseys
who might cross each other act like
children in a sandbox.
How can we look to sports figures
as role models and we the general
public act total fools? The sports
world is a very small miniature
mirror of our own behavior. We the
general public, abuse drugs from
prescription drugs to street drugs. If
it’s not steroids, our envy or jealous
and insecurity leads many to plastic
surgery lifestyles on one end, and
on the others it can be gluttony.
Our courts and jails are loaded
with, domestic abuse, violence,
rape,
