“ Cain was dissatisfied with the outcome of his offering unto The Creator and he felt his only option was to murder his brother in cold blood to give himself more options . Hitler led millions to slaughter because he believed his dissatisfaction of his homeland and the course of their economy was directly and negatively affected by the Jews . And he felt by perpetrating horrific acts of violence it would free up some options for his country . I could go on and on concerning the malicious behavior of mankind and not once was any of these acts of genocide and depravity labeled according to the skin color of the perpetrators .
When we consider the genocide that constantly erupts across the African continent we have never heard those acts of violence labeled “ Black on Black Crime ”. Many studies by experts prove that 95 % of the time , criminal behavior and the severity of it is directly connected to poverty . There are mega slums scattered all over the planet and in each location crime and violence is higher than other areas that maybe more financially inept . And not once has any of the crimes in these areas been labeled according to skin color . So why here ? Why Africans in America ? The answer is simply racism , external and self-inflicted .
If we recall during the 90 ’ s and early 2000 ’ s , the term “ Black on Black Crime ” was rarely used when it concerned the violence that plagued the inner cities . What was it called ? Gang violence . Yes , I ’ m sure you can recall the non-stop news coverage of gang violence in Chicago , New York , South Central , Watts and Compton . Even the music associated with gang violence was called “ Gangster Rap ”, not “ Black on Black Crime ” rap . And because it was labeled Gang violence it put the responsibility of its resolution squarely in the hands of local and federal law enforcement . They had to investigate why , where , and who and they discovered the why was drugs , the where the drugs were coming from was outside of the affected areas and the who was international drug cartels . The public outcry for law enforcement to end the violence and drug wars is well documented and very rarely was the responsibility of its resolution placed on the heads of the communities affected by it . Millions were enslaved … oops sorry incarcerated ( I couldn ’ t help myself ) and new border laws and controls were implemented to try and stop the carnage .
